Why Use Oswift? :
When you were a kid, you delivered newspapers, did yard work, or even your friend's homework to earn extra cash. You did favors for friends and were owed favors in return. Think of Oswift as your new school: a place to make new friends, get connected and trade your social capital and skills. The job market can go up or down, but being of service to others and helping them meet their needs always has value. Oswift is the place to meet people who need what you have to offer. It's your new source of connections and capital of all kinds.
How Do I Make Money Using Oswift? :
Tap your resources to the fullest. You or someone you know can be of assistance to someone you don't know...yet. Find out who that person is on Oswift and earn Omoney. Spend your Omoney on the unique offers of other Oswift members or redeem your Omoney and cash out.
How Do I Save Money Using Oswift? :
As a buyer on Oswift, you gain access to a world of opportunities and advantage that's constantly changing as new offers are posted every day. Instead of paying a job recruiter to find you a job, make a connection with someone on Oswift who works for the personnel department of a company you would like to work for and offer him/her a character reference, an special introduction to your pastor, a book review, an achievement award or whatever it is you have to offer. Introduce yourself, offer something of value or offer your Omoney for value you already provided to others on Oswift. At the very least, you will now have a connection to that person, and it didn't cost you a dime.
In another example, you could pay a talent agency thousands of dollars in the hope of getting an audition on Broadway or Hollywood, or you could find an Oswift member with influence in the entertainment business who could benefit by a free membership at a golf course where you happen to work. Introduce yourself and swap favors.
How Do I Use Oswift To Get An Apartment? :
Jane sits on the board of the Dakota, a prestigious co-op in New York City, and can influence the acceptance of a tenant's application. Jane becomes an overified member of Oswift, chooses a username, then posts an offer to help tenants get an exclusive apartment and sets her own price in Omoney
. George, an upwardly mobile single lawyer, is moving to New York City and would be delighted to live at the Dakota but does not know anyone in the building who could put in a good word for him. He makes contact with Jane and offers an introduction to a real estate developer he knows. If Jane is interested and they agree on the price, the deal is done. If Jane is not interested in meeting the real estate developer, or if meeting the developer is worth less than getting the apartment , George posts his offer on Oswift and makes introductions for others until he has enough Omoney to pay Jane. At the very least, George now knows someone at the Dakota.
How Does Oswift Get Paid? :
The buyer, in this case George, will pay 10% of Jane's price in cash to Oswift via PayPal or his credit card once both agree to the deal. The seller, in this case Jane, will pay no fee.
What Happens if Jane and George Go Outside Oswift to Avoid Paying the 10% Commission? :
Just like eBay, Oswift provides peace of mind to both buyers and sellers that counterparties will live up to their promises. If either Jane or George is dissatisfied within 10 business days, Oswift will mediate, reverse the transaction or decide in favor of either Jane or George at its sole discretion. By going outside Oswift, Jane and George lose this protection and risk expulsion from the Oswift community.
If a Transaction is Reversed or Canceled, will Oswift Refund the Commission Paid by the Buyer? :
Although the buyer's Omoney is refundable within 10 business days if the buyer is not completely satisfied, Oswift is unable to police all the possible arrangements made by buyers and sellers, and is regrettably unable to refund Oswift commissions after a transaction has been authorized and paid for.
I Have Bad Credit. I Don't Have a Job. I Don't Have a PayPal Account or a Credit Card. Can I Still Use Oswift? :
Absolutely! Sign up as a basic member and start marketing yourself and the unique skills and advantages you have to offer! Start earning Omoney today and building your user profile. To establish yourself, you will need to provide your first three offers at no charge to other Oswift users and earn positive feedback from them. It's free to join, there is no risk involved and that the very least, you will make new contacts and friends.
Can I Sell My Car, Jewelty, etc. on Oswift? :
While Oswift does not prohibit the sale of merchandise, it is not designed with that intent and other sites are better suited for that purpose. Merchandise offered for sale on Oswift would be priced in Omoney with a cash commission payable to Oswift.
Can I Offer My Services for Cash Only or with a Cash Component? :
That depends on what is being offered. In most cases, offers should be priced in Omoney. Cash deals would still generate a 10% Oswift commission. Contact the site administrator for more information.
I am an Overified Oswift User. Can I Credit Omoney to Another Overified Oswift User Without Buying or Selling Anything? :
Yes. The Oswift cash commission is 1% of the face value of the amount transferred. The minimum amount is 10,000 in Omoney.
Can I Earn or Buy Omoney Now and Spend Them Later? :
Yes. Earn Omoney providing services to other users or buy Omoney outright for and keep them in your account until you want to spend/transfer them. This is a free service.
A Buyer Has Accepted My Offer. When Do I Get Paid? :
By clicking on the accept offer button, the buyer has accepted your offer and your price and agreed to pay you. A message will be sent to the site administrator and Omoney deposited into your account, usually within one business day. You should then deliver your services as advertised. The buyer will have 10 business days to leave feedback and claim a refund before the sale becomes final. Generally speaking, it is the seller's responsibility to ensure buyer satisfaction and Oswift will side with the buyer in most disputes.
How Do I Pay My Debts on Oswift? :
There are two ways to pay down your debts using Oswift. The easiest way is to start offering your services for Omoney and build up your Omoney account balance. Then sell your Omoney to another Oswift user for cash. Another way is to have your creditor become an Overified Oswift user then credit your account balance to them. The Oswift cash commission is 1%.
What is Omoney? :
Omoney is the "currency" at Oswift.com. One unit of Omoney is equal to one US dollar.
Why Use Omoney? :
To conserve your cash for other things! Spend your Omoney on Oswift and have more cash left over for everything else. Earn Omoney on Oswift and spend them instead of your cash.
How Do I Get Started? :
Get a basic membership or become an Overified Oswift user.
